It was retailed by Ortner &amp; Houle Engravers &amp; Draughtsmen 3 St James St SW. It is in excellent condition and was made circa 1860-1880. The heart has been set with banded sardonyx with a central starburst of natural split pearls. Around it is black enamel interspersed with eight natural split pearls. The bale has also been enamelled in black. on the reverse is a heart shaped glazed locket section containing plaited hair.
