The motif is a vase filled with Convolvulus on one side and roses on the other. The convolvulus was thought to symbolise \u2018bonds\u2019 and the rose signifies &#8216;Love&#8217;. The leaves and flowers have been overlaid with two colour rose and yellow gold, a technique that was developed in Birmingham in the late 1800s.
