It is a variation on the normal pave set heart pendant in that it has a starburst of natural split pearls and diamonds around the outside. In the centre is a turquoise set forget me not with a diamond in the centre and graded split pearls around it. The bale has been set with three natural split pearls. The meaning is clear to the original receiver of this pretty pendant that she must not forget who gave it to her. The use of diamonds means &#8220;Eternal love&#8221; and the pearls are symbolic of wisdom gained through experience. Pearls are believed to offer protection, as well as attract good luck and wealth. It is also said that they are symbolic of the wearer&#8217;s loyalty, generosity, integrity, and purity. On the reverse is a tiny round glazed locket containing the original lock of hair.
