It is full of strength and symbolism with Renaissance Revival motifs. There are bearded male heads with horns, winged griffins and stylised shells set with rubies and a pearl. These decorative pieces are interspersed with butterfly shaped sections set with rubies and natural split pearls. The main body of the necklace is silver with silver gilt components.
