An unusual pair of platinum earrings that were made circa 1910-1920. They are articulated so they move well when worn. They are a tassel design with a crown shaped top. The top diamonds are a quarter of a carat each and have three small diamonds below that attach to the tassels. There is millgrain detail throughout. They are beautifully finished at the back. The settings have been filed in a hair bell shape. An old jeweller friend of mine once told me to always look at the back of a piece of jewellery. If it is well finished then it is a top quality job! They look wonderful when worn and are typical of the early 20th century fine design.
