A really pretty heavy gage 18ct gold necklace that was made in the Belle Epoque period in France, circa 1900-1910. The French style at that time was so pretty and over the years I have seen a few of these garland necklaces but this one is particularly lovely. It is composed of five drops set with natural pearls. The centre one has a tiny rose diamond above it. In between are garlands of roses. The reverse side has been engraved with flowers too which is a sign of quality. It would have been given as a token of esteem and is as appropriate to give now as it was in the early 1900s.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
