I was amazed to find this incredible heart pendant because I have never seen anything like it. It is very large and has been paveA style of setting in which the stones are set as close together as possible to cover the entire field of the setting for a cobblestone (or “paved”) effect where the setting does not show. set with graduated rose diamonds. The baleA component of certain types of jewellery, mostly necklaces, that is used to attach a pendant or stone to a chain. has also been set in silverA metallic element which is malleable and ductile, and white in colour, making it ideal for use in jewellery. It is usually mixed with copper to improve its hardness.
settings with small rose diamonds. It was made circa 1880 and has a glazed locket on the reverse with a hand painted picture of a lady who was most likely the original owner of this extraordinary pendant.
It comes in the original fitted case.
I love that the rose diamonds are different shapes and the settings have been made accordingly. A stunning piece of jewellery.
