John Springett was born in 1791, in Wouldham, Kent, England, United Kingdom, his father, William Springett, was 36 and his mother, Elizabeth Usborne, was 24. He died on 23 November 1869, in East Farleigh, Kent, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 78, and was buried in East Farleigh, Kent. The surname Springett originated in Essex and Kent and is the topographic name for someone who lived by a plantation of young trees, a copse.
