Victorian Prince of Wales Feathers Scottish Grey Agate Brooch

Written by Olly Gerrish

A wonderful Scottish brooch in a Prince of Wales feathers design. The grey agates have been specially selected for their grey banding which follows and enhances the design. They have been polished and cut in to the silver setting with great accuracy. This brooch was made circa 1860 and celebrated Queen Victoria’s purchase of Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands. It is in it’s own fitted case.
