484W
280 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An amazing necklace that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been claw set with ten large oval cabochon cut opals with a claw set old mine cut diamond in between each opal. The clasp is also a large opal.  The opals display vivid flashes of blue, green and red and look stunning when worn. The estimated total weight of the opals is 43 carats.

It is in its original Moroccan brown tooled leather fitted case lined with Burgundy coloured velvet and ivory silk.
