Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautifully modelled snake brooch that was made circa 1880. His body has been set with graduated old mine cut diamonds that continue to his head. Each of his eyes have been set with a cabochon ruby. He even has a forked tongue. Snakes are a symbol of eternal love and wisdom and are one of the oldest mythological symbols. They can also represent passion and sexual desire. He comes in the original Moroccan leather case with a green velvet interior.
