Victorian Five Stone Opal & Diamond Ring

484G

Written by Olly Gerrish

A really pretty 18ct gold opal and diamond ring made in 1900 in Chester. The opals are a particularly good colour displaying red, green and blue. There are small diamonds in between, these are called diamond points in the trade and were used a lot in the Victorian period to give the effect of a continuous line. It is in excellent condition.
