Victorian 18ct Gold, Three Stone Ruby & Diamond Ring

373W
40 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a very pretty 18ct gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1898. It has been set with three well matched rubies with two small diamonds on either side of the centre ruby. There is a gold rim around the stones that serves to protect them and adds to the overall design. The shoulders are an unusual leaf and scroll incised design. It is a neat ring when worn and would make a lovely engagement ring
