Edwardian 18ct Gold, Three Stone Diamond Gypsy Ring

448S
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely 18ct gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1909. It has been set with three old mine cut diamonds within star shaped settings. This style of ring is known as a gypsy ring due to the diamond shaped settings, other rings have star shaped settings. They were very popular in the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods and were often set with different coloured gemstones. This ring can be worn on its own or stacked with others.
