Victorian 18ct Gold, Three Stone Diamond Carved Half Hoop Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful example of an 18ct gold late Victorian three stone diamond ring, made circa 1890-1900. The style of ring is known as the carved half hoop because of the openwork scroll mount. It has been set with three well matched good white cushion cut diamonds, accented by tiny rose diamonds between each of the principal stones. This gives the ring a good line. It curves nicely around the finger and sits low making it an ideal candidate for an engagement ring.
