Victorian 18ct Gold Snake Ring with a Diamond in his Head

109/PR
560 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very good looking and heavy gage 18ct gold snake ring that was made in Birmingham in 1890. It has been set with an old mine cut diamond in his head. Snake rings were very popular in the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian periods as they represented “Eternal love and wisdom”. This example is beautifully made and is top quality of its type. It can be worn by a man or a woman. This ring can be resized, though please note there may be an additional charge to increase by more than three sizes.
