Edwardian 18ct Gold Keeper Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

This is an easy to wear and stylish 18ct gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1902. It is known as a “Keeper ring”. The tradition of giving a keeper ring is said to have represented the idea that the receiver was worth “keeping.” The “You are a keeper” sentiment attached to these rings makes them a popular choice today as a unique wedding ring, engagement ring, eternity ring, and even an anniversary band. This particular ring is composed of braided plain and engraved gold bands and is in lovely condition
