Victorian 18ct Gold Five Stone Ruby Ring with Diamond Points

282W
160 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A good looking 18ct gold five stone ruby ring that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been claw set with five cushion cut rubies.  Each claw has been set with a small diamond at the tip which adds that extra touch to the ring. The rubies are well matched natural stones. This ring is accompanied with a certificate stating that the rubies are natural from the Mogok mine in Burma (Myanmar). Natural unheated rubies are scarce. It would make a perfect engagement or Ruby anniversary ring.
