Victorian 18ct Gold Five Stone Almandine Garnet Ring with Rose Diamond Points

117X
40 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stunning 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been set with five well matched and graduated almandine garnets. Almandine garnets vary in colour from deep red to an attractive purplish hue as seen in these stones. Above and below are small rose diamond points as they are called, that add sparkle to the ring. The shoulders are a pretty scroll design.

It curves around the finger nicely and sits low so it is a practical ring to wear either as a dress or an engagement ring.
