Victorian 18ct Gold Entwined Double Snake Ring with Diamond Set Eyes

Written by Olly Gerrish

A charming 18ct gold snake ring that was made in Birmingham in 1874. The snake’s eyes are set with small diamonds. The snake motif in antique jewellery represented “Eternal love and wisdom”, so this ring with it’s two entwined snakes represented the love between two people. What a wonderful gift to someone you love.
