Victorian 18ct Gold, Emerald & Diamond Five Stone Ring

805W
40 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely 18ct gold ring that was assayed in London in 1879. It has been claw set with three well matched emeralds that are most likely of Columbian origin. In between the emeralds are old mine cut diamonds.  The shank has incised scroll shoulders and  decorative design on the sides.

It would make a wonderful engagement ring as it sits low on the finger and curves around it nicely.
