The Responsible Choice
Buying antique jewellery is both ethical and eco-friendly as harmful and destructive mining processes are not needed to make an item yours. So give yourself a pat on the back!
Find Out MoreA beautiful 18ct gold double snake ring that was made in Birmingham in 1889. It is well modelled unlike some snake rings that we come across. In each of the snake’s heads is a ruby and a diamond and the eyes are little gold bobbles. The snake motif in antique jewellery represented “Eternal love and wisdom”, so pieces such as this ring would have been a gift from an admirer or would have been given as an engagement ring. It is as appropriate today to give to a loved one as it was in the 1890s.
