Victorian 18ct Gold & Diamond Ring

470R

Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a very pretty ring that was made in Birmingham in 1891. It has been set with well matched good white diamonds in an unusual motif with ridged edges that I have not seen before. The jewellers would have had their own patented designs and thousands of rings were produced in the jewellery quarter in Birmingham in the late 1800s. It is very wearable either as an engagement ring or a dress ring
