Victorian 18ct Gold & Diamond Ivy Leaf Design Ring

314W
160 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is such a charming 18ct gold Victorian ring that was made in Birmingham in 1887.  Along the top are five raised gold ivy leaves, each one set with a small diamond. On either side are grooved and ornate raised edges.  Ivy in Victorian speak literally means “Cling to me” so this dear little ring would have been given as a token of true love. This ring can only be sized down due to the decoration on the shank.
