Victorian 18ct Gold & Diamond Horseshoe Ring

162N
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lucky horseshoe ring that was made circa 1890. It is 18ct gold and has been set with ten old mine cut diamonds. Horseshoe jewellery has become quite popular over the last few years. The horseshoe is a symbol of good luck and protection. It dates back to a blacksmith and his dealings with the devil. A wonderful and unusual ring to give as an engagement or a dress ring.
