Victorian 18ct Gold Cufflinks with Engraved Coronets & Hidden Lockets

159U
320 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual pair of cufflinks that were made circa 1840-1860. Each cufflink has been engraved with an Earl’s coronet with a monogram beneath and an engraved foliate motif around the edge. They are each joined by a figure of eight link.  There is a hidden locket on one side of each of the cufflinks. It is hard to spot so it would most likely have concealed a lock of hair. An unusual and rare pair of cufflinks
