Victorian 18ct Gold, Black Enamel & Diamond Ring

631T
240 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stunning 18ct gold ring in wonderful condition that was made in London in 1842. It has been set with an old mine cut diamond. The diamond has been foiled to give it greater translucency so it is a really bright white stone. It contrasts well with the surrounding black enamel within a raised gold frame. The black enamel continues around the shank. It was originally made as a mourning ring but nowadays can be worn as a dress ring. This ring cannot be sized as it may affect the black enamel.

Ollys Pick

This ring is int only unusual but is in great condition.
