Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 15ct gold tie pin that was made circa 1860-1880 at the time when Scotland was the destination place to go as Queen Victoria had just purchased Balmoral castle. It is a shield with a garter around it and has been set with jasper and bloodstone. It is in the original presentation case. Stamped in gold on the green silk interior is “Marshall 24 & 25 Prince’s St Edinburgh”. All our tie pins come with a stopper at the end of the pin. A wonderful gift for a Scottish gentleman!
