Spanish 19th Century 18ct Gold Signet Ring set with a Carnelian with Intaglio of a Crest with Coronet Detail

Written by Olly Gerrish

A good looking 18ct gold signet ring that was made circa 1880 in Spain. It has been set with a carnelian that has a carved intaglio of a shield with two bare chested warriors with arrows and a star in the centre. Above is a coronet that signifies that the owner was a Count. The shoulders have repousse leaf and scroll motifs. It looks really smart when worn.
