brooch designed by Arno Malinowski, for the famous firm, Georg Jensen. Arno Malinowski (1899 – 1976) was one of the most versatile designers who ever worked for Georg Jensen. He was successful not only as a designer of silver objects, but also as a sculptor, ceramist, engraver and medalist.
He was associated with the Jensen firm for many years. from 1936 to 1944, and again from 1949 to 1965. His jewellery designs are particularly distinctive.
He participated in many exhibitions and won numerous awards for his work as a designer in silver, porcelain and bronze. This brooch was most likely made in the 1950s.
