A lovely silver brooch of a peacock that was made between 1920-1940.. The peacock motif was often used in both Art Nouveau. and Arts & Crafts jewellery. In ancient times, the peacock was the symbol of rebirth and eternal life. It has been set with graded marcasite (iron pyrites) and a red paste eye. It has a secure brooch fitting with an added safety chain
