Mid 20th Century Madeira Citrine & Diamond Rectangular Cluster Ring

67X
200 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a fantastic 18ct gold Art Deco ring that was made in the 1950s. It has been claw set with a lovely Madeira citrine.  It is a wonderful colour and has been rectangular cut to best show off it’s colour. Madeira citrine is one of the most sought after varieties of citrine. This gemstone is named after the fortified wine made in the Madeira Islands, just off the coast of Portugal. Around it are fourteen diamonds set in 18ct white gold.

It is a beautiful and unusual ring.
