A large 14 carat gold double snake ring made circa 1880. The ring is set with an old mine cut diamond that weighs approx 0.40 carats and a cabochon sapphire that weighs approx 0.76 carats. It is most likely of Austrian or German origin. The snakes have been set with rose diamond eyes and have scales engraved. This ring is beautifully designed and has a very strong look.
