Find Out MoreIn the early nineteenth century there was a passion for botanical jewellery. Explorers were bringing back new specimens from far flung places and writing about their discoveries. This example is an enchanting late Georgian 15ct gold botanical brooch, made circa 1820, consisting of two large carved white coral flowers with gold stamens and a central garnet and turquoise. There are four finely chased and engraved gold leaves with two more gold flowers with a turquoise in the centre of each one.
