An 18ct gold Georgian mourning ring depicting a windmill drawn in hair. The significance of the windmill is unclear but symbolic. It might signify the passing of time. The white enamel on the shank means that Robert Gereen was unmarried, he was only 18 years old. He died on the 12th august 1776.
