Written by Olly Gerrish

An impressive and quite large late Georgian ring that was made around 1810-1820. It is set with a square flat cut almandine garnet surrounded by natural split pearls, with split shoulders also set with pearls and a small garnet on each side. Underneath the top are engraved the initials “J.M.D”. It would have been a memorial ring. It is in lovely condition.
