Georgian Five Stone Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

167X
120 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful early ring that was made circa 1830. It has been set with five graduated old mine cushion cut diamonds within silver open backed settings. When viewed from the sides these settings form scrolls which is a lovely detail and the trifurcated shank adds lightness to the ring. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of just over two carats and are well matched stones.

A fabulous ring to wear either as a dress or an engagement ring.
