Georgian 18ct Gold, Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring

387P
955 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A charming 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1820-1830. It has been set with three well matched emeralds with six cushion cut diamonds surrounding the central emerald. Emeralds were fairly rare at the time and green paste was often used so this ring was a fine quality ring. There is beautiful gold detail throughout with ornate shoulders that are typical of the period. This is a ring for a collector as it is such a good example.

Ollys Pick

So rare these days to find such a pretty late Georgian ring!
