French Early 20th Century Platinum, Diamond Octagonal Cluster Ring

107X

Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual platinum and diamond cluster ring that was made circa 1920 in France. The Art Deco period was just beginning so geometric motifs were beginning to appear in jewellery. The octagonal surround set with diamonds frames a large diamond that weighs just under one carat. There are further diamonds set in to the shoulders.

It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear and would make a fabulous engagement ring.
