French Early 20th Century 18ct Gold, Old Mine Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1900-1910 in France. The style is traditionally known as a daisy cluster ring and was popular at the time. In this ring there is a claw set forty point old mine cut diamond in the centre surrounded by eight claw set smaller diamonds arranged on a slightly lower level making a total weight of approximately 1.60 carats.  The shank is robust and sweeps up to meet the cluster.  A perfect engagement ring
