An unusual 18ct gold pear shaped locket that was made circa 1860 in France. It has been enamelled in deep blue enamel and has a splayed leaf design set with graded rose diamonds. It opens to reveal a hinged glazed locket. The reverse has been engraved with stylised Fleur de Lis. It is a beautiful piece of jewellery that looks wonderful when worn on a medium length chain.
