In 1931, Camille Bournadet founded his workshop in the rue Richelieu in Paris. He was an excellent designer and created pieces of jewellery and then sold them to jewellery shops. His great-nephew, Roger Mathon, who joined him a few decades later, had studied at the prestigious École Boulle and the School of Decorative Art In 1972, when Camille Bournadet retired, he sold his workshop to Roger.
