Edwardian Silver, Marcasite & Citrine Paste Drop Earrings

Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely pair of silver drop earrings that were made circa 1910-1920. They are in the pretty style that was popular at the time with bow motifs above large pale yellow pastes. They have been studded with graduated marcasite (iron pyrites) that is cut to look like rose diamonds as it glitters alluringly when worn. The wires are gold.
