Edwardian Platinum Double Flower Brooch set with Rubies & Diamonds & a Natural Split Pearl

Written by Olly Gerrish

A charming platinum brooch that was made circa 1910-1920. It is a beautiful naturalistic design with two flowers above leaves with stylised stems. One flower has been set with five diamonds with a small ruby in the centre. The other flower has been set in 18ct yellow gold with rubies and a diamond in the centre. The leaves have been set with graded rose diamonds. Finally there is an articulated natural pearl drop with a tiny diamond above the pearl. The hidden meaning is the love between a couple. Rubies are for love and passion and diamonds are for eternal love. A stunning brooch that has been really well made with lots of attention to detail. A perfect gift to someone you care for
