Edwardian Platinum & Diamond Set Horseshoe Pendant on Platinum Chain

Written by Olly Gerrish

A lucky 18ct gold horseshoe that has been set with graduated transition cut diamonds. It is platinum fronted with an 15ct yellow gold wash on the reverse. It is suspended from an ornate platinum chain. The horseshoe was made in the Edwardian period, circa 1910 and has been converted from a brooch to a pendant and attached to the platinum chain that also dates from 1910. I think it is a successful result and very wearable.
