Edwardian 9ct Gold Knot Ring with Plain & Engraved Detail

144S
Written by Olly Gerrish

Knot rings were really commitment rings in the early 1900s meaning that “you are tied to me”, so this style of ring could be given as an engagement ring. This particular example is 9ct gold and was made in Chester in 1909. It has a lovely woven motif of repoussee and plain gold bands. It is wearable on an every day basis.
