Edwardian 9ct Gold Back & Front Locket with Engraved Swallow & Flower Basket Detail

743X
Written by Olly Gerrish

9ct gold back and front oval locket that was made circa 1910. On one side it has been engraved with a swallow. The swallow was considered daring, risk seeking, and a symbol of change for good in the future. It also meant “Everlasting love” and “loyalty” as swallows mate for life. On the other side is a flower basket filled with roses, and roses mean Love!

A wonderful locket to give to someone that you love too!
