Edwardian 18ct Gold, Sapphire & Diamond Five Stone Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a charming ring that was made in the early 1900s. It has been set with three well matched natural Royal blue rectangular cut sapphires that are most likely of Burmese origin. In between are two bright white old mine cut diamonds. There is further sweet detail on the sides of the shoulders. The stones are set in platinum. This ring would make an ideal engagement ring as it curves round the finger beautifully and sits low so it would be practical to wear.

Ollys Pick

I like the rectangular cut sapphires that contrast with the round diamonds in this ring
