Edwardian 18ct Gold, Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring

491S
160 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An impressive 18ct gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1912. It has been set with a sapphire that weighs one and a half carats. It is a gorgeous cornflower blue colour so it was most likely sourced in Ceylon (Shri Lanka) where many stones came from in the Victorian and Edwardian periods. Around it are twelve claw set old mine cut diamonds. A perfect engagement or dress ring.
