Edwardian 18ct Gold, Rose Cut Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1910-1920. It has been set with a cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire surrounded by ten rose diamonds. The thing that sets this ring apart from others is that the sapphire has been rose cut which is very unusual. It could possibly be of Russian origin. The result is a subtle and beautiful looking ring that would be a perfect engagement ring
